Signals

Brand teams hire for their gaps.

Pancake watches six buying signals. These four matter most to retail tech founders.

Own brand

Your posts pull in brands

Insights and e-commerce people who react to or comment on your company or founder posts become leads.

Pancake can also watch the Competitor and Influencer signals. Hiring and Stack start switched off. One click turns each on.

Control

You choose who hears from you.

Pancake contacts only the leads you approve and add to your campaign. Nothing goes out for 10 minutes, so you can undo.

  • Your own account

Outreach goes out under your name, at a human pace.

  • No pitch in the invite

Invites go out with no note.

  • Weekdays, business hours

Pancake sends Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM, in your time zone.

FAQ

Questions retail tech founders ask.

Can it reach store managers?

Only if you pick them as buyers. Leads are judged against the roles in your Brain, like VP E-commerce or Head of Insights.

Do you track which brands sell on Amazon?

No. Marketplace, sales and POS data are out of reach. Pancake works from people’s posts, comments and job posts.

Will it find shoppers for our research panels?

No. Pancake finds the brand teams that buy your product. It never finds consumers.

Can it find small DTC brands?

Yes, when their team posts or opens roles. Brands under 50 people show up less often than bigger ones.

What does Pancake send?

From your own account: a profile visit, a like on a recent post, an invite with no note, then up to three messages. No emails, no calls.

What do I approve?

Every lead. Pancake contacts only leads you approve and add to your campaign, and you get 10 minutes to undo.

Can I read the messages before they send?

You can read each one in the lead’s campaign journey. Messages send on their own when their step comes. You can’t edit or approve them one by one. To stop outreach, remove the lead or pause the campaign.

How many leads will I get?

Pancake aims for 5 to 15 new leads a day, delivered each morning. The count depends on how many people match your signals.

What does it cost?

$99 a month, flat, with unlimited seats. The 3-day free trial needs a card.
