Connect Pancake to ChatGPT

Ask ChatGPT for leads, build Plays and edit messages, on the same workspace as the app.

Four steps

  1. 01. Create your Pancake account

    Click Start free and add your website. Pancake builds your Brain in a few minutes.

  2. 02. Add Pancake to ChatGPT

    On chatgpt.com, open Plugins, click + and pick Add custom MCP server. Name it Pancake and paste this URL:

    https://app.pancake.ai/api/mcp

  3. 03. Sign in

    Choose OAuth, accept the warning and click Create as a plugin. Sign in to Pancake, pick your workspace and approve.

  4. 04. Check the connection

    Install the plugin. In a new chat, type @Pancake and ask:

    What's in my Pancake Brain? Answer in five lines.

    If ChatGPT answers with your company, you're connected.

Read my Pancake Brain. Who do you think my best customers are, and what would you change?
I sell [what you sell] to [who you sell to]. Build me a Pancake Play that finds [the people you want] who [what they are doing right now]. Show me the plan and what it will cost before you run it.
Show me the new leads, best fit first, with the reason for each one.
Show me the message Pancake wrote for [name]. Make it shorter and open on their post.
Add [name] to my sequence.

This starts real outreach from your own account. Pancake tells ChatGPT to do it only when you ask.

Good to know

  • No API key. You sign in to Pancake in your browser.
  • Same Brain, Plays and leads as the app.
  • ChatGPT shows the cost of a search before it runs.
  • Outreach starts only when you add a lead to a sequence.
  • No custom server option? It depends on your ChatGPT plan and workspace. Use Claude or Codex.
  • Remove access anytime in Pancake, under Settings → Claude & Codex.
